Dont BPT do it using a snort kit, or do they just retail the kits?

I'd like to add, any performance shop that doesn't find you annoying, will do it for you. but it will not be cheap.

The key there being "doesn't find you annoying". I used to work for a race engineer for a little while and anyone who walked through the door acting like a C*** would:
A) get quoted rediculously high in the hope that it sends them back out the door
or B) be sent to another shop where the boss can handle his potential customers ego.

Motorsport is an industry where once you've built a rep, you can try as hard as you can to price yourself out of the market but people will still keep coming back for more.

Find out who has done the work you want and then go from there.

But beware, there are a whole heap of performance shops scattered around the country that have no experience with what you want but are willing to have a go, and will make s**t promises just to be given a go.

Then a few scenarios may unfold:
1. your car may go hard initially but be plagued with problems and spend more time in the shop than on the road.
2. After taking your deposit your chosen shop will take a ridiculously long time to complete the car. When you get it back the smile on your dial is from driving your car for the first time in over 12 months instead of feeling the new found power.
3. Its everything you wanted and even more.

We all want scenario 3's but with a first timer working on your particular type of set up you will most likely end up with a scenario 1 or 2. This is why more and more guys are learning to use the tools and doing their own spanner work.

Perfect example. Micks metalcraft in Sydney do drive in drive out intercooler instalations but expect to pay $2500 for a 280x500x76

Hey,

Hills Motorsport did the tuning on my Mav' along with a couple of other minor bits, so i can recommend them.

If you're serious about wanting a "drive-in/drive-out, running A1". then give them a call. You might have to wait a while as they seem to flat out. I think last count was to have 12 cars finished, while mine was there.
http://www.hillsmotorsport.com/ If you click the customers rides you will see mine, along with a few of their others..........

Cheers

8-) Daz 8-)

but in paying that $2500 for it, you'll be getting a %100 job. not a half a*** job.

I quite often advise people to go and see XXXXXXX shop. it's good to be able to pick your customers.
