Hi guys.
Just looking for any advice or feed back from anyone one who has bought or know of anyone who has bought and fitted a Snort Performance turbo kit for their Falcon. Im seriously looking at doing this to my Fairmont, my aim is to increase power without comprimising driveability and blowing drive line components up.

I'm looking for any feed back on what others have done or achived from using these packages, also what sort of power figues and psi these engines and drive lines can handle before having to spend heaps of money on rebuilds and replacements.

Any help would be much appreciated.

G'day, The Snort kits are fantastic value for money and will easily provide you with the sort of power you are looking for. You can easily expect 220-230rwkw on a very safe tune with around 8psi, these power levels will keep your driveline in tact so long as you dont punish the gearbox too much, the btr 4 speed auto is s**t, it will eventually die, but rebuilt with better components will see longer life, or even better wake it up with a manual conversion :D . later when you go chasing more power there is plenty of room left to gain, I have seen 270rwkw on a std AU motor with a snort stage 2 kit and 42pound injectors with a tune.

EDIT: found out today the AU had a stg 2 head and cam, my apologies, still bloody good though.

Just be aware the Tickford head has higher compression ...
Not great for turbo application..
Early log inlet style is fine.. Forced induction doesn't require fancy inlets, the inlet ducting is shorter also..

great stuff they make..
with their stage 3, im running 213rwkw at under 7psi of boost.
a tickford head will make minimal difference.
bang for your buck, get a stage 2 at 3k
mild steel cooler piping $200
bosch 023 fuel pump $180
j3+tune $600
and bobs your uncle
at about 9psi you should make 200rwkw
