hey guys, just searching ebay for a cheap turbo and came across a fair bit of this sort of stuff...

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Super-T70-T3-Tur ... 1e5d2b1e3e

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... 0372703058

can anybody tell me if this sort of thing is worth buying?
i'm not out to make huge power, i just want to turbo charge my car.
i was thinking of buying 2 and doing a twin turbo set up?
but if i can get away with a moderate power gain, i only want to use one.
i dunno, let me know what you guys think.
cheers, gumby

over the years ebay turbos have become better, but not the best.all i can say is what you pay is what you get.it could last you 1 day or it could last you a few years. you will never know. just look for a second hand garrett turbo..

The poor man pays twice.

I wouldnt buy one. Get a good 2nd hand garrett or buy a turbo from snort. They are cheap and proven to be reliable.

Im fitting a 9psi snort stage two on lpg, not gonna touch petrol.
$60 b2 converter from the wreckers and a new Impco 425 mixer, get the lpg specialist to fit it with a balance line. Will cost me less then $700 to get the gas side done and it should be very good.
Little more power then petrol too and WAY cheaper! Love that part ;)

Its mixer dude, balance line = win!
The bigger mixer and converter make it all possible!
