Yeah the manifold for the turbo on that ed looked nice and neat. I just wonder how much cash they would be asking for one?.

No less than a grand I would imagin. I made a quad throttle manifold last year and the alloy and pro welding cost me 400... add labour and its a grand plus

I like their work! I have contacted them to talk about their inlet manifold.

Yep! All the hardware is there. M800, 255lph Fuel, 24lb/hr Injectors (yeh, have to go ALOT larger for what i'm chasing), super strong bottom end. Just need to drop the compression and i'm ready to dance sideways with some 10 second passes.. thats my aim.
Just want to tune up the 4L in her NA form.. get some dyno readings and then back to the drawing boards for serious power. I've reached the end of the 4L NA road.

Awesome, turbo's are the way to go
400kw@w will get you close to 10s, grab another pump and some 750cc(plus) injectors |

400RWKW is very acheivable. Just got to start worrying about the T5 and the diff. Atleast I can go to 9" diff's easily being a leaf sprung wagon

yeah ya lucky bugger lol damn waggins but i though you where goign locker brad?????? hmm im interested in custom manifold but as i can see most people say to run the ED manifold but another thing ive heard also is if you take the butterfly valve out of the bbm that turbos will run even better on the bbm then ed like on the BA XR6 Turbos, Is this true??????

i wonder why they say that then? It would have longer runners so maybe it helps with some early spool, though spooling isnt really an issue on 4lts unless the turbo is VERY big.
Maybe the manifold just has the ability to flow more than the early ones. One good thing is that the TB is mounted in the centre of the runners aiding a much more even spread of air flow, this always improves cylinder filling and even ARs accros the cylinders, but for ease of instalation (turbo) an EA>D would be the choice |

Another good thing about the early throttle bodies is the length of intake pipe needed. Its shorter, by almost a metre if done properly. Unless you want non intercooled

Well im going to go the EL BBM bottom runners and going to go the nizpro cobra bbm plenium only problem is price is up there at around $1,600 but it would be worth it now just to source a new EL bottom end to rebuild and play with

So does the nizpro plenum bolt straight onto the EL runners?
