I need to run four vacum lines - 2 for pressure switches (1 for the water injection and 1 for the second fuel pump), 1 for the BOV and one for the FMU.
Any ideas whats the best to go off on the BBM? With the boost gauge I used the line running to the MAP, but since this is a pretty important sensor for the fuel I thought it probably not the best idea to tap another three on there. Capa for at least 1 of the pressure switchs seem to recomend putting a t-peice in the vacum line to the PCV - but this worries me as wouldn't it get muck in the sensor? Or whats the go with putting some fittings into the inlet manifold? |

Well instead of tapping into the PCV line how about the brake booster line??? I think they're the same size...

That's an idea - didn't even think of that one. Is it wise though considering the importance of brakes? But they'd still function (be it not as effectively) even if anything went wrong wouldn't they? So it should be fine... |

T off the lines that don't effect tune..
Its NOT hard to drill and tapp manifold... On turbo conversions, it pays to have map and fuel reg some distance away from intake runners so they don't pulse.. The middle of manifold is ideal...

I think I'd actually prefer to put some new fittings into the manifold for the new items. So you reckon I should redo the ones for the MAP and fuel reg or are the factory locations alright for those? |
