i was thinking about turboing my el how did u go about engineers or not and insurance .. ?

There is some scope for tuning by changing the base timing, and adjusting the base fuel rail pressure. Very crude, but on a conservative setup it can "work"...
Thats right, there is no provision for timing retard under boost on a standard ECU.

can i ask you all, where you put your pickup and return oil lines for the turbo and possible some pics?? im looking at the stage 4 snort performance kit and want to know exactly what to do before i tackle it

pickup comes from oil pressure sender port with a T peice.
drain is usually done with a fitting tapped into the sump right below the turbo.

hey huggiebear its very easy run a t piece off the block before ur oil pressure switch and put the switch at the end and run a braided oil line from that to the turbo and put a fitting in the top of the sump for ur return, theres a few things u can use for the oil return but yeah its not hard... ill try get pics up for u tonight
