what about bottom end work.. I got no idea where to start now, im getting the block crack tested and cleaned on this thursday. what do i do now? lol

Yep, tops way to learn, though a better way to learn is to get your turbo set up all up and running and when the motor breaks, you know where its weakness is... stronger rods,bearings, pistons, head studs and valves are known weaknesses
Some guys say the ACL EA stuff doesnt suit turbos... all depends on your planned max boost/rpm though |

I personally would not spend to get a motor crack tested if its std bore and has no signs of overheating.
If you want to really spend some money then get the block align honed, o-ringed, torque plate honed and decked. Resize yours rod, equalize lengths and fit ARP rod bolts. Its been proven that the std motor will handle 400fwhp easy on a good tune. I would personally just torqueplate hone, shotpeen the rods, fit ARP rod and head bolts, and o-ring the deck. Then rebuild the head with a full 3 angle valve job. |
