Hi guys, was wondering how hard is it to get a turboed I6 EA to AU falcon engineered in NSW.Is there many difficulties and is it pricey?I live in country NSW,there is a guy who comes here who does the engineering but its really hard to get a hold of him and see what you need to be done to your turboed falcon so it wont fail the engineer tests. Was thinking about turboing a I6 falcon.I'll be doing most of the work but will get some help from local exhaust and welding shops. Will also be upgrading the ecu and fuel system. And am hoping to push more than 250rwkws.But still looking for that right falcon will post if i go down the turboed road.So please let us know if you have encountered such things with your turboed falcon thanks.

Joe @ Crescent Motors Liverpool may be worth having a chat to. He has an engineer contact who can sort you out.

From what ive been told you wont be able to get it engineered with a aftermeket ecu, unless you hide it so it cant be seen and the engineer doesnt know its there. Best thing to do would be bolt all the turbo gear on with the stock ecu and injectors and just run very smal amounts of boost, like 4 psi or so just so you can pass emissions testing and engineering, then as soon as you have the papers wire in the ecu and bigger injectors and wind the boost back up. Just a idea anyway. Either way you will have to meet rpa emissions standards.
