Ditto on the no RWC in SA - when I went from 250 6 cyl to 351 it was just a change of engine number form - no inspection, nothing. A chick at the motor rego looked at the form for seriously 5 seconds, then just typed in the new engine number and charged me the fee difference (between 6 and 8..)

ahk, well it would still have to be 195kw, there is no way it would be making 245kw with 6psi

yeah flywheel, but a BF xr6 turbo is only running 6psi and 245kw. BF has a bucketload more power than a 3.9l engine

just found it for sale on boostcruising, he wants 15k for it, bit excessive?? hard to say if there was only 25 made it is quite rare. i would have thought 5-6, i would prefer a ba xr6 for 15k would go harder and be more reliable thats for sure

They were buckets of s**t! They used a SU carb, for f**k sake! If they had used the EFI setup, they could have been a good thing.
