Never heard of it

270 Kws for a 3.9 litre OHC

They are doing that power with DOHC Typhoons.

And if it was soooo rare he would not have it for sale at 2K.

I think its a phoney add. The car looks as stock as a rock!

starting price is 2k but also has reserve, if a pure collector was buying what do you think its worth?
and why did ford only make an ea version, imagine what the later models could have been if ford put more r&d into the turbo 6!!

Its been up for a few months and hasnt reached reserve yet.

I bought one of these a few years ago for $4.5k, malakai only paid a bit over $2k for his.

Its just an EA with a cheapo turbo kit. Nothing special unless you are into collecting EA's. :|

The good thing about it is no need to get the turbo engineered, and EPA'ed for rego, as it's factory.

An interstate car being registered in SA goes to Regency (Gov Motor Reg), last time I did one though all that was checked was that the engine number matched.

But buying and selling within SA doesn't require any checks or RWC.

What i meant with the EA Turbo, was, as it is not modified to have the turbo, it wouldn't need an engineer certificate and EPA testing, as you do putting a turbo onto a not turbo car.

assuming the relevant authorities accept it as being a factory turbo car.
sometimes educating them is the hardest part.
