How is that plenum bolted on. Do you have to drill out the threads on the bottom half and bolt from the underside.

Looks like a good manifold, any pics from the underside

Spot on with the drill n bolt from under, will have some underside pics tomorrow hopefully. 2-3 day wait to make em.

I've taken the guts out of the EF manifold, butterfly plates and cut out all the ally in the the inlet area to make it one big hole (got pic but dont know how to put up here). Each hole entry is being shaped into a bell mouth.

Now gotta work out plenum, whether to have a bolt on one or just weld a plenum on.

I think to get the most out of this manifold the guts have to be taken out and just bolting on a nizpro manifold with no manifold mods is not the best way to go. The manifold shown above with the guts taken out and bellmouthed would give better results IMO

I took the guts out with my new plasma cutter, thats why the very left port is rough. It took a few minutes to cut the ally out. That machine is brilliant cause otherwise would have been a pain in the a** and time consuming.

Thanks for the photo posting info

Yeah i have a spare manifold of an ef and im considering just taking as much meat as i can out of the lower half and turning the throttle body around the same as drif 6.. might not be a massiv increase in hp but its nearly a metre less of piping to get up an around to stock position. and its cheaper than the nizpro one.

I heard a few whispers that snortperformance was going to make a few cast alloy plenums similar to nizpro style so maybe get onto them and heckle for a while with enough interest they might start making more.

Have a look, But I'm sure its not just a case of bolting the top half on the other way. Last Time I looked it was nearly impossible.. Bolt holes dont line up, and a heap of other problems.
