I'd be confident in saying that that 'Greenslade' manifold pictured above would bolt up to ANY broadband manifold. The only difference with BA broadband manifolds is that the runners are spaced slightly different, but where the top half of the manifold bolts together, should be the same from EF-BF.

correct, they use the same gasket, however i did check out a few from ef-au and there seems to be a lot of things to overcome fitment wise, something like TX valve and pipes?? thermostat?? bbm butterfly setup needs to go, AU has the A/C accumulator right in the way.... vac hoses are fair bit different, the BA was an easy install

Does the nizpro plenum match the lower half when the ports have been opened up like that?

My plenum only runs into the lower runners. The uppers are blocked off by the base plate. Im wondering if it will make much of a difference to open it up in the same way.

The Nizpro plenum does match up. The only thing I have done is take out the dividing section where the butterflies used to be. The Nizpro manifold does not have any dividing section.

I am not sure what you mean by your second question but if your manifold only runs into one port of the runner then I would open it up. Show pics

Cool. My plenum only feeds the ports on the inside of the dividing section. The ones on the outside are blocked off by the plenum base plate. Ill open it up before I put it back on.

Do the standard turbo plenums have this dividing section or are they all open as well?

any factory turbocharged BA-BF does not have the butterflys in the manifold, besides having those removed they are the same, they have the two runner per port setup like the na manifold in that picture that has been gutted

use to cut what exactly, the parts of the lower plenum that have to be removed to gut them?? turbotrana used a plasma cutter

anyone considered making one like drif6 uses?

Hi

drif6 plenum setup looks good but how well it works is another story

the throttle body has be rotated 180 degrees clockwise , i can see that setup favouring the middle cylinders and possible running them a lot leaner than the others further outwards like cylinder numbers 1,2 and 5,6.

The plenum looks like its a cast unit ??? does anybody know the manufacturer ?

I might be wrong this is my opinion from a visual perspective only.

This is what we quickly knocked up for my car. Not the most technically advanced thing in the world but it's better than the stock BBM.

And I have also modified the bottom half of the manifold like turbotrana.

the nizpro plenum apparently only use the secondary side of the runners. therefore you take out the secondary runners vacum operated butterflys and match port to your plenum. well anyway this is wat the bloke who sold me my plenum told me. i beleive him as he has rb30 plenums on sub 10sec cars.
