Just wondering what the fastest recorded quarter mile time is for a b series XR6T or F6?

i don't think any of those are manual stef, i thought the quickest was a low 11?
they all struggle to get CVs to hold together.

Probably right Steady ED, they'd all be BTR 4 speeds (with the exception of the single BF listed).

Easy to build strong, can add a big stall converter (so build boost on the line, can't really do that with the ZF6 yet*), and no missed shifts.

Manuals are NOT the best choice for drag racing. Check the higher classes, few run manuals (and the classes that do mandate them, use fancy air sequential or star shifters).

* there's work on that in progress. Kewish Automotive (among others) are building strong ZF's, and I think there's someone experimenting with a high stall converter in a BF F6.

theres 3 BFs in there, i know for a fact two of those are ZFs.

18 VIC Maurizio mion Falcon BF F6 4.0-litre CP 10.899 132.31 Toyo RA1 110
and
11 VIC Mark Hamilton BF F6 4.0-litre HP 10.471 135.34 26x10 110

top 5 is all C4 im fairly sure, apart from 1 one of the gtech cars which has a powerglide.
cant remember which one it is though :?:

thats interesting to read.
I think id be happy with a 12sec quarter but id rather drive a slower quarter mile car then have an auto there just not enjoyable to drive at all.
