Check all the wiring going to the auto - if it has bad connections it could do something like that - I'm not too sure what they mean by a "magnetronic unit" Doesn't sound right to me - Get it scanned and see what codes it comes up with. Beyond that, you are going to have to delve deeper. It could be the wiring that goes to the actual solenoids within the auto, in which case the auto will likely have to come out and apart ($$$$$$$)

Yeh thanks mate wiring been checked . Only code in it is lost comm with TCM and vehicle speed sensor out of range , somrthing like that . its been to a performance workshop n they checked a lot of stuff n gave up because ford are the only ones the can reflash n check all the electrics properly.as .it seem to be a comm error in a ecu/ module.
Its at a forf dealer now n they are gonna replace the trans module. they said they wernt 100% cofident but everything pointed to this magnatronics thing.
This all started 6 weeks ago when i ran it on the rollers n found it was 45 rwkw down on power n n no codes or engine light to being in limp mode n the dash goin nuts sayn TRANS FAULT.
Cheers any info would be great.

If you are mechanically minded, it may pay to pull the pan off, and have a look at the wiring connected to the solenoids in the valve body. But just be very careful that you don't break anything, and refill with the correct grade and quantity of oil.
