i want forced induction should i go turbo or super chargers
i guess they have pros and cons i want about 30-40% more power my ef is a daily driver i have no questions on the supercharger but with turbo what would be the best way to do it just a capa turbo kit to suit or get a turbo manifold made and look for a desent toyota ct25 turbo of sumthing any help would be great im moving into mods i have not done to petrol motors before ive played with turbo diesel gas injected patrols before but i know its alot diffrent on the petrol/ecu side of things cheers justin |

Yeah get a capa turbo manifold and a ct25 turbo and a motec exhaust. Should work good.

there what a manifold ct25 turbo intercooler and boost controller on ebay yesterday starting at 900 with no bids no dont cashed up yet so i missed out on that

You'll require two CT25's.... Its NOT the power level that dictates turbo size!!! Its the exhaust flow !!! At 2000 rpm it will have 4 times more exhaust flow than Toyota engine...

i dun know what the turbo is off i saw it on ebay im thinkin it chould be from a v8 import lexus thing |

As I said about 2000 rpm.... Fit a 4 cyl maniflold on a N/A 4.0 ltr and see how much power is made... Then force say ?? 8 PSI into it.... Detonation would be rife... If the exhaust can't get out!!! Then it stays there causing detonation on the next cycle... Cheap buck for BANG !!! The Soarer engine in V8 form never came out with forced induction ....

im just playing with ideas i dont know what the ct25 was bolted 2 but the reason i said ct25 coz i saw a turbo manifold on ebay with a ct25 toyota turbo to suit fords inline 6 ohc im not sure what its off
i thought it may have come off an import motor of that breed (inline 6) instead of tellin me what its not bolted onto why not tell me what it was bolted to it might help me more |
