Most definately possible, check out www.trueblueford.com and have a look at the Predator done by ford and GRA ..
Depending on what LPG kit you have and setup you want its more then easily done like a fuel car If your in Syds, contact Joe on 9600-6229 regarding gas turbo.. he'll be able to help you out |

LPG wont' keep ur intake temps down.
unless its via liquid injection.

unless its via liquid injection. That's because by then it's aready heated up and turned into a gas form. I mean the converters have hot coolant/engine water running through them, no way it can be cold. |

It'snot intended to heat up the gas although this would be unavoidable to some extent. It you remember your physics, presurised gas will consume heat (go very cold) when it expands, to keep entrophy in equilibrium - or something like that. Cheers |

If you turboed a straight LPG car (simple set up like base mdel Snort Performance running 6-8psi) would you have to worry about aftermarket ECU's and that or would you just use the LPG controller and standard ECU?

So with a 'typical' converter setup, does an forced induction LPG system have to be draw-through? Or are the converters setup to overcome the boost in the intake plumbing/manifold?
I just dunno if i like the idea of combustable gas being drawn into a hot turbo and compressed.... implications of an LPG backfire on a turbo?

But the LPG is put in at the throttle body on NA. so wouldn't itget put into the air after it's been through the intercooler and turbo? Or on turbo cars does it get put in earlier?

I am unfamiliar with the ECU controlled style of LPG delivery but if you used a GRA or Impco mixer you can mount it either before or after the turbo, running in blow thru is better as the mixer doesn't act as a restriction and you can use an intercooler.
To overcome the signal loss to the converter you need to run a balance line from the intake pipe to the vent on the converter. |
