If its a knock off ?? It would be better to buy another one..
Is there any damage to wheels or housings ??
There usually is...

no damadge just the bearings and the shaft needs replaceing because i maby snapped it getting the bolt off not knowing it was left hand thread O_O no laughing !!!!! or ill have ya legs!

so yeah im going to look for a rebuild kit

the shaft can be purchased for approx $150 which will include the rear wheel as they are one piece.
but as said above, you may have issues with finding one that fits.
so again, would be best to speak to the person that actually sold the turbo

Its identical to this one but it hasant got mine does not have water and oil cooling only oil

Ive pulled it apart and between the intake side and the oil part theres like a bearing thingy then a copper or brass oil gallery thingy also theres a metal thingy like a disk thats got like a taper on one side

then the shaft slides into a cylinder thats brass/copper like in the oil/ middle part of turbo that looks like its held in place by surclips on either side and has oiling holes


any ideas which it is????


always makes me cringe when people are talking about rebuilding there own stuff and then refer to parts as "thingys"
if you don't know what the 'thingy' is then you sure as hell shouldn't be thinking about doing the work your self.

this is my first turbo , u could throw any engine part at me and id most likley know what it is, lol i know saying thingy sounds dodge lol but i havent read up on them yet
