nice surprise for me 2day as i was driving off i heard a nice metalic snap and a massive exhaust leak. stopped the car and had a look under the bonnet to my surprise my turbo turbine housing had snapped the weld and was resting on the turbine. Wicked just what u want. anyway it just touched the turbine so it may be rebuild time? housing f*#ked

turbos are very precicely balanced i would hope that that hasnt thrown the turbine balance out...

no just taking off must have been cracked for a while. its a to4b .60 cold a/f .84hot a/f was making 217rwkw. if its not hurt i will probabily go 1.06 a/r turbine. should give me a bit more up top.

How old is the turbo? Turbo wheels get rooted very easy if anything touches them
