wondering how much sucess people have had from turning to log upside down and if anyone has any pictures. was thinking of tapering back the plenum like the nizpro ones and similar.
still considering moving the throttle body on the bbm from left to right (looking from front) but i'f i'm going to do that i'd be fair inclined to do a dual t/b setup just coz i can lol

HOLY GIANT PLENUM ! ! ! lol is that 6' ?
i have a feeling i've seen that somewhere before, thats a damn good result, with what turbo though ? and how long did it last ? larger capacity 6's are less dependant on flow than their under-privillaged low capacity 6 brothers <cough skylines cough>, & 4pot cousins i rection, but flow and plenum size while are related, aren't linear. i would be very intruiged as to how this larger plenum approach would compare to a smaller plenum on the dyno. the larger plenum seems more oldschool as compared to the more mainstream smaller contempory trend.

thats pretty impressive. would like to learn alot more about manifold dynamics but dunno where to start.
btw turbo giah where does your sump breathe fresh air from if both rocker cover lines run to vacum ? i'm not familiar with turbo pcv systems.

Just box the upper like this..
There are others around tidier, but you get the idea.. A welded round plenum as on Micheal's is stronger. 90* welds and staight sides can flex and crack.. EB6onboost is resting a while .. A house has taken priority.. With the extra power and torque the auto couldn't hold or run better times.. It needs some attention or C4/ T350 conversion.. As it is now..N20 was to spool GT42..

PHEW. That is awesome. Real nice work - impressed with all the pictures on this thread so far. So does look a lot nicer than the "show us your air induction" thread.
Was wondering what you think of the above picture if the lines were running to a water source for water injection? Anyone have any idea?! |
