Question 1. I want to keep the car as stealth as i can... idea is to mount the intercooler BEHIND the radiator, then put the EL thermofans behind that. Does anyone know of the thickness of the thermofans, as i have not sourced them yet and wanna measure available space before i start ripping into it. Can anyone give suggestions perhaps on intercooler placement? cooler i 600 x 300 x 75mm...

Question 2. I've purchased a To4e and ive had it checked out and rebuilt, im running a single turbo on a 5.0lt, thinking of placing the turbo on driver side where battery sits, but i dont reckon there's enough room for pipes... any suggestions, or pics? EBXR8380... would you have pics of your manifolds? where does your turbo sit? I need help!

I dont think the cooler would work behind the radiator.

Stick it in front of it. Much like CHEF's ED Turbo with a Brock front bar on it.

Ive seen heaps of coolers mounted behind radiators before, fair enough, none of them were in fords but oh well... dont wanna put aftermarket kits and crap on the car, i wanted to keep it as stealth as i can, fair enough its low and has nice rims but ive had it for 3 years and never had a cop go over it

blownmc want to be stealth, the point is i don't think he wants a silver intercooler in the view but he can put the intercooler at the front just paint it matt black or a dull black color

just paint your cooler so it doesn't stick out like dogs balls. you need to have air rushing onto the face of it to keep everything cool.

Mine .. SC61/2 twins..

Sorting out Air con compressor as I'm relocating it to idler location..
With single turbo this won't be required...

Being made..

Better have oic if engine bay...See brackets, bolts holding i/c ??

unpainted i/c...

Stealth painted i/c ..

another single 1000 h.p + 91.55 mm Precision turbo....

If you get intercooler alittle narrower than 600mm it will fit up between lights.. If your turbo compressor is correctly sized it shouldn't generate too much heat anyway.. I suggest converting to T66 and .84 A.R for nice quick responce...
I welded two brackets up from lower front X member and two down from front upper where bonnet catch is...

id rather leave the cooler off than put it behind a radiator.... thats complete in-effieceny, the charge air will actually be cooling the intercooler, or as it will become, the interheater

Ive lookd at it for ages and im really not sure of which side would be best to mount the turbo... regardless of which side i mount the turbo, i cannot figure out how to run the exhaust to the turbo? on the passenger side there simply doesnt seem to be enough room, on the drivers side... maybe? what pipe diameters should i use?

Remove battery box and fit battery to boot...
Then remove header tank and replace with an alloy one...
