See how you go then.. $25 seems not to bad, considering what they are and how the are made, and more importantly, they are only things that are stopping the head from going into orbit....lol

Maybe a group buy could be organised, obviously they will have a minimum order quantity. Keep us posted.

Cheers

Thats a good idea. I can contact the supplier and ask them for concession on a larger order.

If TE Jet has a supplier then maybe he can work out a group buy price. I will even be in the group buy but I would want to see a stud in person before I committed to make sure its all OK. I wont bother with looking into it if TE Jet is prepared to do now.

I'm awaiting a response also for the mains girdle from TE Jet. You've got a few customers waiting here to hand over their dosh.

Here you go. Sorry Errol I totally forgot, been really busy! Did you speak with Norm yet?

Attached are pics of the studs, and girdle. The head studs are the same just obviously longer. I have also managed to design a girdle that fits the big end, I had a few problems with the clearances with it, so its a little differrent now. The girdle is made out of 4mm 8310 High Tensile Steel.

That stud girdle looks fine. So longer AU main cap bolts and a 10mm spacer will allow it to fit under the standard steel pan
