Hey guys how ya all doing? Right now I'm looking at a couple of holset turbos, a h1c with a 18cm/2 turbine and a h2d which I'm waiting on the specs for.
Apparently the h1c's push around 48-50lb/min so are good for around 500hp? The h2d are good for 750hp according to my research.
I plan on buying a spare el xr6 motor and stripping it down and freshening it up, keeping it stock internally except for a cam and valve springs. I will also be fabricating my own zorst manifold and intake plenum. What sort of rpm can I expect full boost at with each turbo?
Planned shopping list:
El xr6 motor.
Full bearing and seal kit for motor.
Hv oil pump.
Xr6 fuel reg.
850-1000cc injectors.
J3 + e85 tune.
New dizzy+ coil.
Wade 977b or similar cam.
New valve springs and hla.
