be the only reason for duel 3.5inch yeah they sound ok. very different approach to muffler design yeah they claim a 23% higher flow than any other muffler. its just a turbocharged 351. I am running a 5" dump that splits into twin 3 1/2 until it gets over the diff then goes back into 5". |

Chamber or baffled mufflers don't work too well on turbo cars...In general..

if the flow of the chambered or bafled muffler is the same as the straight through it would make no difference at all

I use them in my car.
twin 3 " system, supercharged. makes 650 rwhp sounds great. I do recomend them. They are quite robust as well.

There's alot of difference between exhaust flow of NA vs turbo...
Apparently gas out of a turbine housing is spirallying ( correct term?? ) down and slows through chambers and baffles... |

I think the idea is more that when exhaust is entering a chambered muffler the gas has to slow spread out then speed up again, causing more of a restriction than a straight through pipe.

hence if the flow rate of the mufflers are the same it make no difference
ps: do you think it's still spinning after it's been through the cat?? |
