Thats weird if its intermittant.

There is a section on the J3 stuff for adaptive learning. Im not sure if that means you can turn it off though.

I ran a 2 bar in the first place just to get around the fuel cut.

I can send you the tune from when my car was supercharged, stock reg, 42lb injectors and the 2 bar map sensor if you end up going that way.

It will at least get you started and driving and give the tuner something to work with.

That would be awesome. Im running 36lb injectors as it is. Would that matter?

It would probably run fairly rich until you got it tuned.

Shav, if I get a J3 setup for my XR8, I'll get the ECU reader. i'll be able to pull the tune out of the ute, but the fact that it's a manual may have some drama's for you. It's got 36lb injectors, stock reg, and I think it's a 2 bar MAP but I can't find the XR6T part number at the moment.

Wouldnt the tune Dan has be closer to what mine will be? I reckon even though the tune will run richer, the tuner can scale back the AFR's to suit. yeah?

That number is the manufacturer's (probably Bosch) part number. The Ford part number is the other one - 3R23-9F479-AA.

You should find all the info you need here -->{DESCRIPTION}

we did a turbo conversion on a AU n/a aprox 5 months ago tuned it with the SCT gear 267 rwkw on 9psi using the std AU n/a map sensor.... no cutting wires no piggy back add on's & scaled the 42lb injectors..... the SCT gear isnt the cheapest but as for tuning ford ecu's IMO its got the best support on the market & afa the E series & the AU tuning we had to nut that out our selfs as the guys that support the product have moved on from them, but there still out there & they need also to be cated for thats why I have invested heavily in this product as I can do anything from a focus to a GT500 which we did last week.....
oh & we took the AU 12lbs & with no issues, didnt cut out or cause any problems

just to let you know...
