Hey guys,
I'm looking to get a XR6T shortly when I sell my car and am wondering what prices (at the lower end of the spectrum) people have paid ? I've seen a few of the earlier BAs advertised for high 20s but then people seem to have trouble shifting them. Are many people getting them for low 20s ?

ive seen some go for low 20's at car auctions. it really depends on the condition and km's of the car

i paid $29990 in november 06 for ours its an august 04 model with 46000 kays and was in smick condition. they have dropped a bit since then and i wouldnt get one with mods on it.there is one at Dale Ford Bankstown sydney for $22990 on the ramps its purple and looks ok if you wanna check her out. dont know what year or kays but it is a mark 1.

I paid $29000 in August last year for an 03 with 48k's on the clock. Just clocked over 71k's and very happy with it. I'd be expecting mid 20's towards lower 20's depending on what options and kms the car has.

$28,999 last week for an 05 BA MKII XR6 Turbo. Auto. Premium Audio. Pep pack. 57,000kms.
If your looking for a Turbs in the low 20's, I would be thinking an 03 BA with around 100,000kms on the clock. Either that or you might get lucky and find a good, low kay example for mid 20's. |

Are these prices private sales or from dealers ?
I'm guessing at the lower end you'd have to go private. 93EB I noticed that purple one. Evidently I like the phantom colour  but I'm chasing a mercury silver one this time around.
Good score ebguy, I guess the colour makes a bit of difference. I've found the acid urine... er I mean rush  and winter white ones are generally a grand or 2 cheaper. I could probably live with a white one with blue stripes but the missus has said no to a white car!
I'm chasing one in the low 20s (thats all I've got) but was just curious as I've seen a few people say they got them cheap. I dunno if the cheap ones sell quickly or people are putting higher prices on them and then dropping when it comes to the crunch.

I've got a silver one I'll sell you Hyena......on second thoughts I only just got it so I'd better keep it for a couple of weeks
. I paid 26,500 private. It's an 03 with premo sound and some extra go fast goodies  (and it's a manual)

1 month ago roughly i paid 20,000km on the dot.
Private, its purple, auto, had 96,000km on the clock. The optional 18" wheels, prem sound, k&n panel filter. Had the diff hand built in March '06. Has Slotted front rotors. Leather steering wheel and auto gear knob. The guy had it advertised for 22 but said he would take 20. I think people are finding them hard to get rid of so that makes it cheaper for us. I looked at a pretty identicle car, auto, purple, premo sound. It didnt ahve the 18"s but it did have leather seats. It all depends on where you look. BUT make sure you look around first Griffo

Did you find many others around that price ? (was the 2nd one also 22k ?) Might be worth taking a little drive south! One I'm looking at has had the brakes and diff rebuilt by ford - sounds like a common series 1 problem but hopefully they sorted it properly the 2nd time around !

I dont know what you are lookin for in it, cos i mean i deffinatly wanted a car with premo sound. I wouldnt even looka t a car no matter how cheap it was if it didnt ahve premo cos thats what i wanted but i will keep looking for just cheap ones anyway Griffo
