hey guys just want to find out how to hook up an ext gate. its got to outlets for hose's on at the top and and in the centre

Leave the top one to atmosphere or put it before the turb intake, between the air filter and turbo.

Put the middle one to the intake manifold somewhere.

ok great thanks and also do u know how much louder the car will be if i dont run the ext gate back into my exhaust system

there was an in car clip from my bus on here somewhere, maybe the too much boost thread, although it is loud as hell, the phone clip doesnt really demonstrate that...

they are loud, i used a 2in hotdog muffler on mine, it runs down and the end of the hotdog is about level with the back of the gearbox, when its banging the limiter it crackles and pops big time right under your seat.. i think mine may be slightly louder than normal because of where im venting the exhaust gas from, its coming directly out of the turbine housing

Sorry to hijack the thread but whilst on the topic of wastegate routing my brother has a wastegate that has 3 fittings for it. The side one. One that is on the top surface but off to the side and one small one that is on the top surface but dead center.

Yeah I played with the one on the ED... really really loud on any level of boost. It just sounded like the exhasut suddenly fell off... different to a screamer on an sylvia or evo
