how to remove the factory boost controll ?? and has any one done it i am wanting to put a non factory one in there has any one done it any info will be grate

Wouldn't the factory ecu flag all sorts of faults if you did that?

You cant actuall do that i dont think. Thats why people like CAPA needed to creat the flash tuner so it would make the ECU work cos its not like rexies or something like that where you can just turn the boost up and not worry cos the factory ECU would pretty much start s**t its self

actually it can be done!!!! you must have the latest ford reflashes!

these have higher boost limits just as a wrx has!

the wrx has 13.5psi std boost with the cut set at 17psi

the current falcon tunes are 3-4psi with the cut set at 8-9psi

this means if you check it on a dyno and all is safe you can raise it to 6 psi with an accurate controler or it will over boost

you also need to leave the std solenoid hooked up even though not plumbed in!

this can be done for around $250 inc dyno time!
