Can any body please put up a diagram on how they have plumbed up there pcv on the turbo or supercharged 4.0 .
I brought this car thinking it has worn rings and piston with causes the dipstick to blow out or has the pcv been setup wrong this only does it at about 4,500 rpm Engine had two catch cans running out of the rocker cover can this cause the pcv to loose vacum ??? |

2 cans with 2 lines on each can going to the top of the rocker cover the other 2 lines coming of the catch cans just going in the the atmosphere
I believe that this motor has no vacum at all!! |

On the top one at the and 1 at the rear of the rocker cover the guys just taped 2 90 degree fittings in

Do you have any pics of the setup?
It might help to see what is actually going on. Basically, the PCV line should be connected to the intake manifold after the throttle body, so that it sees vacuum at low throttle application. You should fit a check valve to stop any boost entering the crankcase through the PCV when manifold pressure is positive. The rear breather (or in your case two breathers) should be plumbed to the intake before the supercharger. |

If the rocker cover fittings have been plumbed to the catch can(s), that's fine. But have the two ports on the manifold & tb where the breathers normally go been blocked off?
If not this would explain the lack of vacuum and possibly black smoke related to overfueling. It cannot cause ring damage, only engine wear or a poor tune can cause this. Cheers, Jason

On my Blown BA My Catch can has two connections.
I have one hose running from an engine vacuum source (intake manifold) to the catch Can Then I have another hose running from the Catch Can to the PCV valve in the rocker cover. IMOP, I don't think a Catch can is even necessary unless you have a smoky motor. I only put one in because everyone said I needed one. But I have never had to drain the Can because mine is always dry, I don't even get one drop of oil in there. It has been like that for 3 years & it works like it is supposed to. I can post an image of the setup if you like but it's not really necessary because it's so simple to connect up that even a blind Holden driver could do it. |

I don't really understand what you mean? But I haven't touched the rocker cover, it's exactly how it has always been if that answers your question..Have a look at my photo Gallery & you will see that I have tried to keep under the hood pretty basic (as close to standard, within reason) considering there is a S5-335 Sprintex Blower under there. |

He was referring to the breather outlet on the rocker cover, and assumed you had an EA-AU with the same rocker cover layout of PCV at the front and breather at the rear.
