What did you do with the Aircon bottle?

I'm trying to work out what to do with mine as I love my A/c and don't want to lose it... looks kinda like you've mounted it behind the intercooler? I won't have room with my setup but am thinking about getting a different bottle from another type of car thats a bit fatter but shorter, and putting it in the engine bay - near the relocated battery (when that happens) saves having a heap of extra piping too...

I just turned its bracket around and flattened it a bit... moved it in about 6cm or so.

Cant live without aircon

do you see any problems with relocating it to the engine bay? I assume it's where it is because it gets hot?

perhaps I could set up some sort of thermo/electronic fan on it in the engine bay that switches on with aircon if this is the case...

Drive around on minimal throttle and off boost and its fine, better than with the eec... but nail it alot and it'll use s**t of fuel, as would any car with this kind of power.
On the freeway its great, I averaged 10lt per 100ks on a syd to bris trip

Chef: have you thought at all about trying to use a ford factory knock sensor with some sort of converion circuitry to drive one of the wolf's aux inputs as a timing retard on pinging?

SileNceR, I've been thinking about using the knock sensor with my wolf for some time now. Its just a matter of time, I might start working on it this week. do you have any info on how it works? I've read that at idle it will read 3 volts, my guess is it will drop voltage depending on the severity of the knock..
It would be nice to have, you never know what quality of fuel you get.
If your car is tuned on a 20 deg day, and you get some bad fuel and its a 40 deg day some detonation is not as far fetched as it sounds.
