i just wont to no if a ba turbo manafold will fit an au xr6 or if any one no's where i can get one to fit my au falcon

no they won't fit, different port shapes.

while on the subject, EFFalcon, do you happen to know if the BA twin cam head will fit onto a normal 4 litre block? with the twin cams of course

no, not even close, block wider, timing gear setup totally different

why would u want to change a au for a ba bbm there the same apart from the head flange

yo brent it simon molloy just go to snortperformance they look after u, as for ur falcon i wouldnt bother trying to match anything up from a BA it dont work, ive had a mate trying the same thing but no luck.

Actually the block is the same as the AU block but the timing cover is different. It can be done with the right hands but average joes like you and I that have bugger all skills in this department can only dream.

umm... the BA block doens't have the auxillery shaft, and the oil pump is driven by the crank.. can't see how its like the AU block :|

Can be done and quite cheap too. Yes the port holes dont quite match up and the top row of studs dont line up but it can be modifired to suit as i have had mine done. I scored a turbo and manifold for $500 and it was made to fit my AU for $100. all i have to do now is finish the cooler pipes and the oil lines and im done all for under $1000 including the cooler. :)

The BA head could be made to fit. If you grab a BA and AU head gasket and put them together you will see there is only a few differences. But at the end of the day it’s going to be easier and much better to just drop a BA block in there also...

gasket may be similar, but have you considered how on earth you would mate it up to the timing cover and timing chain??
