You need strong rotating assembly, good ecu tune.. Decent turbo ...
All this race parts this and that is just good parts..
Which shouldn't cost too much more...
Like race plugs ?? They generally are colder than std plugs...
What turbo are you considering ??
The kit itself to a point doesn't matter...

8k on the donk  , what rods are being used?

I just hope it's not going to take 10 days to build.

You had a quick flick over that classic thread too today?

What rods are you getting in there? H beams? I Beams? or just shotpeened B series Egas rods?

It sounds like one long sentence of mismatched crap your mechanic force fed you.

Of all the high powered turbo Falcons out there I don't think a single one has had its crank knife edged. Its a mod usually reserved to all out high revving (8000rpm+) race cars. At uni few years ago we thought about getting the crank knife edged in our Turbo CBR600RR SAE car and decided against it as it just wasn't worth it.

Either Kyle's (6boost) or Lee's (Extreme Turbo Manifolds) stuff is top notch. There are debates on certain forums suggesting Lee copied Kyle's designs but there are some differences between the two.
The good thing is, either of them will outperform your snort stuff by a country mile.
Doesn't Sinan (HiBoost)? have a 6boost Manifold? Now that is a huge turbo 4L.

Years ago there was a big s**t on calaisturbo when Leigh bought out his manifolds priced just a little cheaper than the 6boost stuff.

6boost was a sponsor at the time and Leigh was a mod. It made for some good reading.

I think the main difference is that Kyle swears by the oval port on the turbo flange and Leigh doesnt.

Is there anything else that is different?

The 6boost gear is proven to work, Sinan ran an 11.7 IIRC on snort gear, changed to 6boost and went 10.7.

how would 6 boost or etm out preform our product by a country mile??

i think if you look at both manifolds from etm and 6 boost you will find etm are more a copy of our product !!

6 boost design has always been his own as is ours, the truth however about qaulity/design let me fill you in on the details

our manifolds are hand made from s/10 steam pipe s/steel , each bend is double tig welded linished sanded and polished to show finish!! merge collector split pulse multi fit turbo flange/headplate 12mm

show me any 6 boost or etm product made to the same finish for anywhere near the price!!

our stage 4 kit features garrett to4z turbocharger with the above manifold ect

we are more then happy to compare any of our products side/side to ANY manufacturer either plenums, manifolds kits ect anyone want to put there 6 boost etm manifolds beside our current stage 4???

Most of the pics of Leighs manifolds I've seen have Those big f**k off Vband adaptors for the turbo rather than flanges.
Also the merge angles on the collectors of Leighs manifolds seem to be larger than Kyles. This is just going by some pics I've seen of the products. If I had a spare thousand on dollars I'd just walk to Leighs shop (3kms) and order one.

which manifold has gone the quickest?
what manifold have the gtech BAs got, whats Sammut running?
hiboost obviously has a 6boost, so we've got a 9.6 there.

He went 11.2 with snort gear and a 35/40. His first 10 (10.7) was with the new motor, new plenum, new auto and a GT42. Maybe a new intercooler and ECU in there too. Its hardly a fair comparison.

Just to clarify, HiBoost ran a 11.2 with snort gear then got a rebuilt bottom end but kept the same head upgraded to the rajab/6BOOST setup and ran a 10.7. According to him one of the reasons of upgrading was that the manifold kept cracking and warping, i'm sure Snort sorted this out but the 6BOOST manifold comes with a life time warranty and you never hear of them cracking/warping.
