Ive been looking at building a set of log manifolds instead of cutting up the factory headers... but on the header, a lot of people seem to have the primary enter the log on a 90deg angle, where as some others seem to make more of a smooth entrance, say on a 45deg angle... a lot of guys on the turbo forums use the 90deg idea... would there be much of an issue using this method seeing as my fabrication skills are very limited, or is there another way for me to make them?

Why not use the factory headers and just reverse them? you can weld onto them very easily providing the welder has enough guts.
Jake edwards 1000+ HP torrie, it has some form of factory cast manifolds, so they work perfectly fine. |

i started making them using the factory manifolds, but there are a few spots where im having trouble with room, especially on the drivers side under the alternator, and figured it would be easier getting one 2'' pipe through that area than 4 1.5''pipes?

Oh snap, sorry I thought you were talking about manifolds, not headers, my bad.

Old 302 cast may work... They will eventually crack if tune is not perfect...
