How did you attach the cooler brackets to the car? Are they Tec Screwed in or bolted?

I used the existing holes that were already there, they are holes for the head lights up the top. And undernieth i used the holes for what i think is the stone gard...

My 46mm wastegate arrived lastweek.
And I have been down to the loacal engineering shop and i'm getting them to cut out the turbo flange and cut&weld in the collector for the wastegate into the collector for the turbo! I might get that back today aswell, otherewise its next year (geeze thats sounds so far away :) )

Hey Mr.kiss,

Mind if i ask you how much your turbo set you back and where you got it from?.

I was thinking it might be a cheaper option than the garrett offerings at the moment.

Cheers.

he normally sells on ebay, just search for "Masterpower", but i think he's on holidays at the moment.

It is a "GAS RESEARCH AUSTRALIA" also known as GRA gas system, what I've got is an "under Bonnet kit" for an EF and i got the s400 throttle body, which means that it contains everything to convert your car to a GRA type gas setup If youy car already had gas... but if it dosnt then you need tank and gas lines etc put in.
And also on my car the induction pipe is one me & dad made up at home. pics are in my gallery <<<<

The four bolts in Question...
Image

One possibillity, but a nut wont screw all the way down onto the flange because the tread stops.

Thats what I'm guessing to, I just thought I'd through it out there and see what people say.
I might go out and get some Stainless Steel nuts then, they should do it.

Umm... yeah right...

Yeah right?

They could be the studs that go into the head and hold the exhaust manifold on but there isn't enough of them.
