with 330rwkw i'd have to say you have done a few I did a full rebuild about 5000kms before putting the blower on, then when I installed the blower I pulled the engine back down to check everything, change the cam and do a few things to make it a bit more reliable with the blower. |

out of a matter of interest ,what did u change to make the engine more reliable?
im not being a copy cat but i dont want to go through the whole trial and error thing.

im not being a copy cat but i dont want to go through the whole trial and error thing. Most of my prep work was done during the initial rebuild because I always planned on going forced induction. The block machining included bore/hone, torque plate hone (for better sealing), deck squared, main line honed. I used ARP main studs and rod bolts which are far stronger than the stock units, lightweight pistons and a full balance. When I installed the blower I opened up the ring gap bacuase the KB ultralite pistons I used have a very high top ring and need extra gap for forced induction, I also changed the cam over to a more blower friendly cam. |

No I didn't but I wish I did just for added safety. But from what I am told, high compression is less of an issue wit superchargers compared with turbos and anything up to high 9:1s is ok as long as you get a good tune. |
