Yep after blowing the legs out of the 2.5 24 valve V6..We decided to build a tough Leon [the owner] Proof. With taftrided crank, and flywheel, H bean eagle rods straight from the 5.4 inch Windsor Eagle rod and some custom C.P 7.8 comp pistons..We then added a block saver that fits between bores aqnd outer block as these engines like Honda's/ WRX etc don't have a solid deck. This prevents bores walking around under high boost..Michael and I made up the exhaust manifolds to fit one GT30/27 turbo...63 rears and .75 front ball bearing turbo...Twin plate ceramic clutch..E boost controler..880 cc injectors, 255 Walbro iontank pump..Again Michael and I made up injector bosses to fit these Rochester squarters etc..EMS 8860 and MSD ignition was fitted..
183 wkw and 630nm torque...In our 1/4 private road [don't believe it?] we got to 175 kph so its got some get up and go..Max boost on P 3 is set at 15 lb... 350 two piece rotors and 4 pot A.P calipers...

Mate you want to see the brakes on this car !!! Needs 18 inch wheels to fit them inside..
Driving this car though you know what torque steer is...
I could be wrong with torque numbers too..Its over 600 nm ...[Thats more than a BA XR8]

Haha - that sounds awesome. You guys certainly know how to have fun.

Engine sounds tough enough to survive a nuclear holocaust.

880cc injectors?!?!?! I guess there's only 6 of em.

YES but that 630 nm realy hauls some wheelspin!!!
This engine has only done 1200 klmrs it's still tuned safe...
But to be honest in front wheel drive car weighing 1100kg it's bloody fast!!! Yes 880 injectors...They are $10 more than 500cc so he got them...The silly part its still runing a 2 to 1 rising rate fuel reg...I want to use the Sard 1.1 reg...Pictures comeing soon...
The gearbox has close ratios...

The 1/2 shafts are equal length so its not as bad as other front wheel drive but bad enough!
I'd hate to be in it if it broke a driveshaft...

This is the old engine with broken rod...
