dont go in the high revs running in motor, i once broke 2 pistons on new motor (tightrings) ,throttle stuck wide open when motor torqued up. ( bed the rings in). if the temp gets high the motor might be tight. i went to the damaged car auction today ,could of got a 96-97 sedan falcon for $150 light damage left gaurd, doors ,cheap harmonic balancer came with motor ,trans, mags and lpg

Hi not sure what size it is, i might check it out tomorrow, and my intake i have made my self from 2 4inch 45 degree bends and did some measuring and cutting welding ,putty, paint,
I have made it come from turbo and come through the radiator support panel, comes out rite next to the radiator.

hi car is all up and running goes well. drove it all weekend, gave it alot of s**t.
motor seems to be good, my home job rebuild has survived.

Got chopped twice friday and saturday night, 1x bf xr6turbo, and a torana running an rb30 with gt42r and 25psi, lol so not dissapointed he was running 25psi vs my 8psi.

Next things to do is to make that shift kit for my auto seem easy enough.hopefully will get it done this weekend and goto drags next wednesday night or saturday night.

OK Back again another update... about 2-3 weeks ago the gearbox lost 3rd and 4th gear. Have just got a ef falcon for $200 that is smashed all over. The car has got no computer so could not test the gearbox out.

Anyway this week and last week been pulling out the gearboxes, and also ordered brand new lifters and a JP High volume oil pump, so i pulled the engine and gearbox out of mustang and put oilpump and lifters in and have also just ordered a new high stall converter.

Few months ago i did the adjustable shift kit thing and it worked great, just hope that wasnt the thing that has stuffed my box or they just cant handle much power!!?

Hopefully new stally gets here before the end of the week and have the car on the road again on the weekend.

Ohh another thing i have cut all the plugs off the EF and have wired my ems upto it all so after car is running ill change over the loom and see if it goes with the ems and then ill get around to getting injectors and fuelpump and TUNE.

Love what you have done with the car mate and great time!!! Those temps are horrible so dont stress, you would have run anywhere from mid to high 12s in better conditions. What was your 60ft time?
