hey guy ive
decided to Twin turbo my falcon for some fun and experence in modifications, welding and all that.

Ive bought so far(this week)

2x skyline GTR Garret Internal-Gated turbos (rebuilt)
Cooling pro 600x300x100 with 3" ports Intercooler
Sard Rising fuel reg with pressure quage(freeby with reg)
Universal intercooling pipe kit off ebay in 3" with clamps and silicon joiners
Braided Oil feed lines
2x T25/T28 flanges
Y joiner 2.5" to join 2 dump pipes into my original exhaust.
Marine Battery Box/case(install battery in boot)
Motor meter smoked boost guage(nice and small)

im debating on what BOX to go with either GFB or turbosmart i seem to be liking the turbosmart HYBRID cause it vents back to infront of turbo as well as to engine bay when you racing (nice and quite when coppers are passing and load when racing) and also your able to block off the trumpet if wanted or the pluming if wanted

i was looking at turbosmart boost controller but guy at work said something about they are know for spiking and recommended GFB atomic boost controller. what you guys think or recommend?

anyone know someone or a shop that dose good tig welding??? ive ordered the t25/t28 flanges and i got manifold flange and ill be getting steam pipe this staturday morning to make manifold ill just need someone good with tig to make some good and strong welds. Just send me a pm if your in brissy with how much you want to weld it up it will all made up held together by duct tape.

also my next biggest problem is THE INTERCOOLER PIPING!!!

anyone got a pile of pic's of there turbo ef/el piping so i can get an idea of how many bends, clamps, silicon joiners i need so i can get any extra gear that won't be in the unversal piping kit. Also the mounting of the intercooler is another thing im interesed about. just want to know how people mounted there intercooler and how high or low.

if i play my cards right and mount turbos right i might be able to just buy skyline stainless dump pipes instead of have to make my own.

for now im going to join the 2 exhaust before the cat and put the o2 sensor there.
but in near future i was looking at running twin 2.5 exhaust system like ba xr6 turbo aftermarket systems.
(ive got new exhaust on the car now and i got my old system what was 2.5 and thinking about installing that beside the original one and moded it so it fits and buy new muffler like my new one and i can run twin exhaust

Also what amp cable good enough to use to run to battery in the boot? and how long do i need? 140amp not enough right?

Ill post pictures very soon when all the gear when it rocks up to keep you guys up to day on my progress.

this what the stuff should look like

2x skyline GTR turbo rebuilt

If im missing something or you got suggestions plz shoot may save me from future problems or bo bo's lol

Thx
Jason

What car/ engine??? Is it EFI ???
If it spikes. The engine could sat goodby!!!
Detonation kills engines.. The pistons shatter like glass, bends con rods etc... Its uncontrolled which shock loads engine big time...

Not that I like them.. You better fit 10 to 1 ratio fuel reg.. And Walbro 255 in tank pump...
Set timing on initial start up at tdc....
It will detonate due to too much advance...
You could pull spout wire and lock ignition at 18*
But they are all temp / short ways of doing it...

a big single might be another way to think cause the piping on 2 turbos sucks balls not to mention the oil lines.

just something to think about......

Hope it goes well indeed.

It'll be interesting to see if boost comes on earlier and whether the turbo's wont max out or not.

Good stuff.
