thnx ppl. i got the plenum for $1000 but the normal price is $1500. i might head up there again next week because i dont have to work the next day

Very nice setup. Dont take shortcuts or it'll cost you much more in the long run, especially money wise.

Keep it up!

lol its bak. um i made a mistake, i paid 1250 for the nizpro plenum.

now its bak ill give use an update

i have moved the battary to the boot and installed a 45 degree 4" intake pipe with a large bmc pod sitting were the battary usto go.

also setup a crank case vacume through a catchcan.

i have the autronic sm4 all wired up and runnin.

fitted a autronic boost control valve.

fitted 42lb ford motorsport injectors

ground out the middle section of the bottom half of the bbm manifold, and a bit of a polish.

the car is getting tuned this week at hyperdrive motorsport in malaga perth. i will gett the car bak next satarday. carnt wait to see how it goes. i am hoping for over 300rwhp but is going to be a tuff ask of the standard cam.

i am also hoping that the auto will hang on anough to get a good tune, its geting pritty sick.

ill get some more pictures up when i gett the car bak to.

after that i am going to put in a 3.45lsd diff and maybe a T5z or a T56 gearbox.

the car is getting tuned this week.

snap fitzz, so is my baby....

good to hear its all goin well for ya.

me and my tuner did most of the on-road tuning yesterday, shes a goer, it is gonna be F**k spastic, for example, at just 45% throttle, it will make 12psi at 21-2200rpm. NO SPOOL UP PROBLEMS AT ALL, i would take it to spoolup, see 12psi on the boost gauge, back-off, and find two black lines on the road behind me, at less than half throttle, in 2nd gear

what size restrictor have you used in your presure line for the wastegate? i had a 1.2mm one, it was making 12-14psi on a 7psi wastegate spring, didnt hold it on for long enough to see if it dropped back to 7, so i drilled it to 1.8mm, and it was better, didnt go much over 10, so now its at 2.5mm and i havent tested that, but should be ok... the problem is that it was making boost so bloody quickly it would peak at bout 13psi

ive booked the dyno for friday, will be VERY interesting!!!!! and to hear how you went with yours

cheers, brad

awsome. i put in the boost valve the other day and just from putting in the valve it come on boost soo much harder it was unbelivlbe. but i did do it to much, me and my dad tryed tuning it as beest we could had got it to go hard as at around 13 psi. i dont understand wat u mean by restrictor in the wastgate line???

i think u are going to make alot more power than u thourght. u have to love the fealing of yuor falcon leaving black strips up the road for 10's or 100's of meters, i love it!!

how much did you pay for the autronic valve?? they are like $150 or something ay?? they happen to be a run of the mill MAC valve, which you can but from most pump/irrigation/pnuematic shops for $50

well, in most cases, depends how you have hooked it up, how have you hooked it up?? if you have just got a pressure line, going to a 'T' piece, with the valve one end, and the gate the other, you need a restrictor on the line from the maifold/pressure source... so that when the valve opens, it is able to flow enogh to drop the pressure in the line.

i may not even need one, yet, but thats the general way to do it.

interested to hear exactly how you installed the valve????

The guy who originally built Motec went out on his own and built Autronic... Larry Perkins used them before one make ecu's were used....
