yes that was the problem. the coil never worked after that. i i just brought a msd ss coil the same as chief has on this ed. and i got some new eagle 9mm leads because the onld ones wernt that good. and just blew out the dizzy. now with the new leads and coil it realy smooth, and had got more low down power, wich has realy helped the spooling time.

i am now organizing a cam i should have 1 in the next few week. then i will put in my 3.45:1 lsd. mabye pull of the manifold and modify it for a split t4 flange so i can chuck a t04z on there. put the boost up to 15-17psi and see wat happens.

i would love to get close to 300rwkw. then take it to the drags with some street radials and see if i can run a good 12sec pass.

dunno if im dreaming but we will see wat happens

update:

i spent all day today installing my jmm turbo grind cam, valve springs and cam gear. whent for a quick drive after install and the old ebay special turbo started making some real lound noises so slowly got my self home to find the infloat was massive causing the compressor wheel to make contact with the compressor housing. well it lasted a good 10,000kms, lucky enough i have a nice t04z sitting in my shed ready to go.

Thats a shame that the turbo broke.

How did the new cam go?

Im getting a cam and valve springs put into mine this weekend. Hopefully i can up the boost a bit more after than. I made less power on 13psi than I did at 12 at my last tune.

yeh i got 2 decent runs before the turbo died. and on 12psi it felt alot faster than before, and pulled right throu the rev range. it would lose traction alot easyer than before. also feels smoother. idles a little rougher than before but still smooth. i dont know the specs of this cam but i recon it would be a high lift, med/low duration. i mesured the lift at the valve when i installed the cam and it was .557" on the intake valve, so thats a fer bit.

Bugger. Good but not good at the same time hey.

Off topic a bit, but on the way down to Wade's place on the weekend, Me & the other guys I was giving a lift to thought we saw your car parked at the supermarket in Waroona. Chucked U-turn to inspect, and were thoroughly disappointed when it wasn't yours, but just a Falcon of the same colour. :(
