i retained the 2.5 inch sytem the car came with and with this setup and a set of bosch 775 injectors hit the rollers

Image

like this the car ran 14.2@ 101 mph on 6psi
but i wanted more so i removed the butterflies from the inlet manifold and ported the runners while i was in there

before

Image

after

Image

i also built a 3inch exhaust with 1 lukey race series box

the car now runs 13.6@ 108mph on 8psi

i havent had it back on the dyno as yet

Are those times done with a gtech
168rwkw seems pretty poor for that setup.

the manifold and turbo are much better then mine, yet i managed 180rwkw on 6psi with lots of blow by.

i'd be wondering how accurate any of those figures are.

Nice work mate!! what engine management are you using??
could you give us a rough idea on how much you've spent to date?

Maybe you got a happy dyno wilson? :P j/k

168rwkw seems low for the times you ran. What have you done to your auto? Did you race on slicks? What 60 footers are you running.

whoa ok, 168kw was a conservative tune timing wise, im stil running the standard ecu, also as i said that was with a 2.5in system with 3 boxes, crusher bent aswell so not very free flowing, LMGs dyno does read a bit lower than most wich is why i tend to trust it lol, also 170odd thru an auto is not bad and the 14.2 it ran in that form is about rite for the power level wouldnt u say? paul the tuner from LMG performance himself said that it has a lot more in it with more timing advance across the board (aprox 200rwkw in his estimation) however this would most likely cause sum detonation in the midrange around the torque peak. hence the limitation of using a stock ecu i guess.
it has gained a tonne of power with the new exhaust so for the moment im very happy with it the way it is, its my daily so ultimate power was never the goal here, turbo performance on a budget was.
box is a btr with trans coooler, adjustable S5 solenoid and syn fluid.
