Maybe, I bought the car from Northern NSW though.

From the condition it was in I'd say it has been through a few owners.

Not a whole lot.

The car was $4200.
BA engine + accessories $1500
Bigger cooler $250
Smaller cooler $250
Argo Rods $1177
Piping $150 odd
Plenum $750
Exhaust manifold $1200
Bosch pump $250ish
Injectors $450
Surge tank $200
Catch can $100
Speedflow and fuel pump fittings $200ish
New turbo $2300
Injectors $450
LM-1 $470
Scorcher bar $250
Stock bonnet, bars and grey mouldings $200
The autronic will be $2450

Whats that about $13k all up? I cbf adding it. I sold some of that stuff as well.

The old turbo, surge tank, catch can and fuel pump I had from my old torana project.

The car also has a Tremec TR-3550 rather than the standard T5 atm.

Jesus GT51R. I thought a GT42R was huge.

You could probably loose a limb to that thing.

You should have no problems making 500rwkw

Aftermarket ECU would be much better. Such as the Wolf 3d v4...or something similar. I did some minor research on this type of project and always have hit a dead end and also stopped pondering about it because I don't have that kind of money. My mechanical skills are limited so I will wait till I learn more about the electronic part of the BA motor.

Your research sucks. The edit is the best option. V4 cant to DVCT. It doesnt even have 2 cam inputs. The edit just needs too much effort to setup. I dont have that kind of spare time to stuff around with BA wiring trying to get it all to work.

I also want an ECU that can run a SOHC engine as well, do datalogging, nitrous control, anti lag, etc etc so Im going with the SM4.

I thought the V4 had DVCT...or the newer model or something. that's what I was told. Well all I know is that there was some aftermarket ECU that could control DVCT.

Like i said i only did minor...didn't know much about the motor so gave up.

The GT51R is physically smaller than the GT42R but flows the same as the GT4202. Both are rated at 1000hp.

The GT51R has a 4 inch intake and 3 inch outlet on the compressor wheel and the GT42R has a 5 inch intake and 3.5inch outlet.

The GT51R has the same wheels as the HKS T51R SPL but has different housings.

Im a bit worried about clearance with the strut tower but Ill know for sure this week. It was sent in the mail on Friday :)

Phong - if you dont know then you shouldnt post. It makes things hard to for people who come on here and try to find correct information.
