$1000 would convince me to sell it.

Any less and I'd rather keep it.

I fitted up an EF radiator yesterday to suit the thermos, fitted an XF throttle body instead of the EF one, filled up with new gearbox, engine oil and coolant and changed the filter.

Today new fuel lines went in. I need to get a new accelerator cable then I can fit the ECU and davies craig thermofan controller and it should run hopefully.

Yep just for s**t and giggles.

Ray Hall told me that there was a new update for the autronic to be released in March that would control VCT and work with the standard cam sensors without having to cut teeth off the cams. It wasnt released by April so I bought the megasquirt as a cheap alternative in the meantime. i dont see a reason why it wouldnt work.

If it does work its going in my 4wd once this autronic is finally released or if I decide on a different ECU.

Thanks for the free dyno run offer, I might take you up on it.

The turbo is from an XR6T.

Cool, Ill give you a ring once its running how I want. I want to chat to you about your cam mod as well.

I started fitting the ECU last night. Ive mounted it and run the power wires so the ECU can fire up.

Ill do the rest tonight and tomorrow and if all goes well it should be running by the end of the weekend.

Dunno mate, I havent fitted an AU motor but I reckon 15psi is doable with a good tune.

The car is in at Dynowog's workshop atm getting an XTC EMS installed.

I should have it back in a week or 2.

Be interesting to see how the NA BA motor goes in the light EA.
Especially with the tremec behind it, should be a bit of fun, for a little while

Yep, it should go pretty good for an NA EA I would think.

Not sure how long an NA EA falcon will keep me entertained for though.

Its only got a stock EA exhaust on atm so Im not expecting huge things from it. I dont really want to spend money on NA mods when I have all the turbo gear except for water and oil lines and piping ready to go.

I want to try and stick it out NA for the fordmods dyno and drag days just to see what it does but I dont know if Ill be able to do it.

i have just read through this thread. you said you bought it from northern nsw. not armidale by any chance ? i can remember a similar coloured turbo ea running around with da something plates. it had the two fuel rails and a tremec in it.
