Just thought I'd chuck up some photos and details of my project which is dragging on more than I'd like.
Its an EA ghia, originally fitted with an AIT turbo setup from the dealer. I bought it in September 06 with a dodgy bonnet with scoop and moffat vents. It has S pack wheels as well.

Straight away I fixed those things.

Image

It made 205rwkw once I fitted a big ebay cooler.

About a month after I got it on the road in November 06 I took the manifolds off to fit a GT3540, tial wastegate and 6BOOST manifold.

I got ambitious and put a BA motor in there instead.

Image

Once I got the engine in and mounted I started hiding all of the wiring. I bought a snort manifold, custom plenum, A GT51R, 60lb injectors, bosch 044 pump and surge tank, LM-1 wideband setup and some various other stuff. I picked up some argo rods as well so I can prep a decent bottom end and wind up the boost. That build will happen later this year though.

Wiring.

Ive always been a fan of the sleeper look so the kit and wheels came off and I fitted a smaller cooler to go behind the stock bar.

Thats about it at the moment. Ive got to finish porting my intake manifold, mount the new turbo, sort out oil and water lines, do intercooler piping and an exhaust then its ready to put the ECU in. The dash is also out at the moment so I can replace the heater core.

Im waiting on autronic to release a new version of the SM4 that works with the standard cam sensors in April so Ive got a bit of time to finish it all.

Thanks guys.

The engine dropped straight in and I sold the old AIT stuff ages ago.

I cant wait to get it running. Its going to be tough keeping the power down to under 300rwkw to protect the stock rods though.

Nope, but i've been watching the progress of Dan's car since he started.
EA only has very minor clearance problems.
