the cheapest would be a grand but remember it is highly illegal and cost a fortune to refill the bottle and also remember you cant register and have insurance LEGALLY on a car with nos

Not totally true, My 5.0 is registered, insure3d and 100% legal with NOS. My set up so far is close to 1900, which is a dry kit, bottle warmer, pressure switch for the bottle warmer, purge kit, bottle blanket and a tonne of jets for tuning. Then there is the cost for bigger injectors, plugs, bigger coil, fuel pump, adjustable fuel reg etc.
Cost for refill is 124 max
Brett

Can you explain the other parts that you have? Aside from the dry setup. What do they do and how much they cost?

I bought a wet system on the weekend with a purge kit for $400 and I still know barely anything about using nitrous.

Isnt it that the laws say its unroadworthy or non-street legal if the nos system is connected.....so there fore if for daily driving if it is disconnected wouldnt it be perfectly fine for insurance and registration anyway ?

Yeah if the bottle isnt connected then you dont have nitrous, just nitrous lines. I cant see how it is an issue.

because to fit those nitrous lines you have to put some holes in your car

i am nearly 100% sure that it IS LEGAl to have an N20 setup on your car BUT the bottle must be disconnected when ever the car is on a public road.
ie: daily driving.
apart from that they are fine.

WTF?? a 2.5cm hole in your boot floor under the carpet do not make your car unroadworthy.

Take a look under your spare, there is a hole there too!

The other bits are Purge Kit, to release bad NOS that has phase changed from liquid to gas, Bigger TB, Bigger injectors, aftermarket manifold, adjustable fuel reg, unichip tuned for NOS, extractors, exhaust, shift kitted auto, bigger fuel pump. All they do is build safety into my system. They allow me to run more NOS than the car should be able to handle. NRMA have my vehicle fully insured with the NOS kit installed, and they said they will look at it when the new motor goes in
