My brother & his mate just put NOS on their Senator & Maloo...its f**k awesome. Im keen to put it on the EB 5L..the engined has been rebuilt recently, but as far as i know the heads and intake manifoled are stock...Am i going to get reasonable improvements from the NOS with the stock heads & manifold, or will they act as a "bottleneck" and prevent me from receivng the full benfits of the "blue bottle"??

Of course they will, but you'll still manage 200rwkw or more depending on what sized shot you're intending. Have a chat to Terrorist Ghia. :P

depends on what NOS system you put on and where you place the squirters.

it would be a wet system & the sqirters would be in air intake after the air flow meter...

i would be more inclined to either upgrade the manifold or put direct port injection NOS kit in it.

blah.

I suggest you talk to TerroristGHIA (Brett) as he has NOS on his 5.0l Fairmont Ghia. that'd be your best bet. Currently he has a edelbrock rpmII kit on it but otherwise its pretty stock. Check the syd dyno day thread to see what his rwkw was as i cant remember sorry!

Try it as is? You can get plate that fits between upper and lower..Wet system is better..Keep fuel up to it....Retard timing...

Hope you find this informative...

Has anyone been able to find the part no for the spacer that goes in between the upper and lower of the RPMII for NOS. I have looked as this is what i will be fitting to mine soon, but cant seem to find the part no anywhere or a supplier other than rocket for that matter
Brett

Is it specifically for NOS? You're not referring to a phenolic spacer are you..

If so, they are at the bottom of this page

i have a stock engine (e7 heads, Ho Intake manifold, pistons, etc), and im getting 200RWKW out of a 100 shot of wet nos, i do have a 150 shot but i need a new exhuast to run any higher then a 100 shot at the moment, only thing i've done to my engine so far is 2.5 inch exhuast(needs to now be changed to 3 inch), BMC panel filter, snorkel is taken off for now, underdrive pulleys, twin termo fans, and thats pretty much it.

you shouldn't have any problems with it.

oh and BTW i got a white bottle, but yes most people have the blue bottle in australia
