you should get mid 14's

what suspension do you have??

it's often over looked. but you are wasting HP with soft bushes they all compress and its power from the engine that does it. (minor with small power like our falcons, but none the less it does happen)
also stiff springs and shock dont help much with traction, as you've probably noticed already.

This thread is great. I cant afford a supercharger at the mo and have seriously been considering NOS for a cheaper solution. MY car as it is NA runs 14.8's so with NOS should bring it down a fair bit. Its an EF Futura with 5 speed, 3:45 LSD, fully rebuilt enigine. I've heard however that if you get someoine to install it (which i'll be getting someone to do), if its not correctly tapped into the throttle body it can go "BOOM".

I have had some major headwork, ACL pistons, decked, balanced, honed, bored. 20 thou oversize etc. Pretty strong combo so it should cope with NOS correct?

by coping if its setup correctly and your not squiting in to high a hp shot then yes you gotta fir bit stronger backbone then most so...

Yeah i really need a bottle warmer as for the rpm window switch, mines set on the throttle body so it turns the nos on only when full open and i have the arming switch infront of my power windows. I turn it on as soon as i can without having to much wheel spin. Usally around 2500rpm but havent tryed it since i had her tuned
