if you were using the proper dry sytems like they do in fast and furious it would be more dramatic..but small wet kits are designed for stock engines..so a 100hp shot wont put strain on ur engine and itll giv u the kick in the pants ur after...i putting nos on after the new heads & manifold & cam go in......

Are you sure about the dry systems being dramatic? Dry systems are designed for low power application where it sprays n2o into your engine and lets the engine computer figure out the addition of extra fuel.

Wet systems spray fuel in with the n2o, the reason nitroxr's isnt wild is because hes running a 100hp shot not a direct port 500HP shot

theres no way ur gonna get as much extra power out of a wet system as u would with a dry - wen i say dry, i mean any other system thats not mixed with the fuel before it enters the engine...so a fogger, or a nos injector on each cylinder.....

right u are my friend. Theres no problem having the full setup... u can even have the bottle in but there has to be a physical disconnection of the hose from the bottle. Ive been pulled over and they have checked it out..... all they were worried about was the gauges on the bonnet. (I need a permit)

i was under the impression that the dry system is an older system where as you only inject nos into the intake and put bigger jets in to compensate for fuel mixture.... and yes i would like to run more than 100HP shot but unfortunetely my budget doesnt allow for a rebuild at this time

Ok Guys, I run NOS in my 5.0. I am getting the full 150hp shot from the dry kit. To say it isnt a dramatic change is to say you dont use it very much, and if you are getting 7-10 runs per bottle, then you are not using the full 100hp. When i first started with NOS on mine, i used the factroy jet, a 36, and this yeilded 58hp at the wheels, and wasn't very dramatic. I went from a 15.2@89mph to a 13.9@99mph. I have since refined the setup with a new inlet manifold, a stall and a set of diff gears. My auto has been shagged for a while and finally cried enought. I have put more NOS through my motor than the cost of a CAPA Blower. In its current from, it has run 13.004@108mph. And let me tell you, that is a big whack from a dry kit
Brett
