The Purge kit allows gaseous Nitrous to be released so that only liquid Nitrous is available at the solenoid. I mounted mine so that it sprays up the windscreeen through the plastic cowl at the top of the bonnet. When you install your kit, i suggest you start with the smallest shot the kit comes with and work your way up until it starts to detonate, then go 1 size smaller. NOS jets are about 8 dollars each, and i have jets for 32 to 57, thats how many an 8 can handle. Also, just to be on the safe side, pull your plugs and halve th Gap, this will enable you to run more NOS without detonation.
Brett

It was this kit: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/NOS-NITROUS-OXID ... dZViewItem

I just went in there and payed $745 + 110 to fill the bottle.. hell cheaper than e-bay

cam timing and ignition timing are different, you're talking cam timing, terroristghia was talking ignition timing. EF owners are stuck cause they can't change that.

EF 6cyl owners are actualy better off then EB ED EL owners.

because the cars with a dizzy although it is simple and free the retard the timing, also have to suffer timing being retarded all the time. = loss of power and economy.

the EF and AU owners have the option of an MSD DIS 4 wich has a few up sides. one being nitrous retard the others being CDI and multi spark.
every thing you need to get the most out of a nitrous setup.

with the added bonus of not having your timing retarded all the time and still having the CDI and multi spark,

I've got CDI and multi spark on my EL, as well as the option for boost or NOS retard.

Crane HI6 Ignition.

Yeah it is now... shop gave me 2 of the small mounts, finished mounting it today. All i have to do now is fit the switch on the throttle body, run 1 wire to my switch inside and heres the hard one... cut into the main fuel supply hose for my fuel rail to insert a T-piece.
