i strongly suggest you invest in an MSD DIS4 or the correct crane ignition so you can run a nitrous retard.

best case nothing, you'll have a blast.
worst case, you'll be back here crying that you need a new engine.

fitting is easy. find some where to mount it. away from direct heat.
cut and join the 4 wires from the coil pack, run a constant power and earth.
connect the step retard to you TB switch for the nitrous. the switched power for the MSD unti is taken from the power to the coil.
i recomend playing it safe if you're not cashed up. and running an extra 1 or 2 degrees retard then what is recomended with the kit. if it says no retard needed run 1 or 2 degrees and so on. better to be safe then sorry

cost around $750 retail from rocket or VPW.

it was worth .3 of second on my EFxr6 with the only other mods being extractors 2.5 inch system and ss inductions intake.

if you can't get one by wed run a small shot that dosn't need any retard, or like datamine said you may be back here asking for advice on a rebuild

it can only do so much. and for the knock sensor and ecu to do that knock has to happen. with nitrous involved there is a chance the know will be quite servere, in all honesty it up to you what you do.
just remember nitrous is not a toy, it generates alot of heat and pressure in the chambers, and if not treated with respect things can go very wrong.

before you go getting smart a**, have you actually got experience with NOS on an ef 6?????

im posting what i know, from experience involving the exact same model, engine, nos shot as this thread is aimed at....

he may find that very usefiul information, whether you agree from a rule of thumb perspective or not.
