Hey guys,
I have the oil line equipment, but i only have a dodgy looking diagram that i got when i bought the blower. I was wondering whether some one may have the diagram, with the parts listed. I just want to make sure i have ALL the parts before i go installing it. Cheers Dave |

Don't have part numbers but what I have is, dont know if it will help at all:
Sump return - easy just use a 1/2" push on fittings on the sump and blower. Oil feed - dont know fitting size but you need the filter fitting for the actual blower (should be on there already), and then I used a 45 degree adaptor onto the oil line. On the engine end, the Y-adaptor screws in where the oil pressure sensor normally fits. The pressure sensor and oil feed line for the blower then fit into the Y-adaptor. I also used a 45 degree adaptor on this end of the oil feed line just to make it a bit easier to route. I have attached 1 pic below of the return line and the oil feed line but I a can get pics of all the bits tomorrow if it would help.

Places like Pirtec or Motorsport connections/ Earles supply these fittings...But in most cases it can be cheaper to get a private hose guy to do it for you.He has all the crimping tools etc...

Hey Grant,
Thanks for that pic, i now undersatand exactly where the oil line feed is coming from. If you had a pic or diagram of all the parts and its not too much trouble to post it up, that would help me out again. I'm gonna owe half a dozen people on here a drive of the thing, as i've asked some many questions on this whole topic!!! Cheers Dave |

My mate thats helping with this stuff, has got me to ask a question on a few parts....
Is there anything i need to do in relation to: *Diluted air *Check Valve *Compressed Air or Condensation All to do with the Oil Line Feed and Return. He's a plumber and seems to know whats going on to an extent, whereas i have know idea about this |

Don't exactly know what he is on about but the oil feed / return is just a very simple system. No need for check valves etc, the oil feed line uses normal oil pressure, and the drain back is just gravity fed.

Doesnt sound like oil return dave...
Diluted air sounds like EGR... no action required... Check valve... there's a bit of stuffing around required with the PCV system... we'll sort that out when you get to that stage (if not sorted already??)

Thats cool then, its just cause all of that stuff was in the box, with the other blower stuff, when i bought it.
It had an A4 diagram of a Vortech Air-Assist setup, so thats what we thought we needed it. If you think it wouldn't be too hard to try and explain it Martin, your more than welcome. Cause i'm hoping we will have the sump off and drilled and back in place Saturday. So if i can get the oil lines worked out by then, it may be running (temporary measure) on Saturday. OK the Vortech air assist makes sense, it is an additional add on which uses the blowers boost to help spray a finer oil mist into the blower. If you want to use that you will probably need to talk with CAPA and get a copy of their setup instructions. Otherwise you can just leave it off and run the normal oil feed line setup.

Hmm... Unless there is some stupendous benefit from running this, then i would be more than happy staying with the 'normal' setup.

Vortech calim something like up to 10hp benefit because of better oiling but others I have talked to say its not worth anything. Just set it up as normal to save time and then you can add it on later if you want.

I'm not chasing every last bit of power atm anyway. So are there any particular filters, ect that need to be run in conjunction with either of the oil lines, return or feed? Or is it simply running the T-Piece off the Pressure Sender and then running it straight to the blower and the same back into the sump. Sorry for all the Q's! Thanks for answering them! Dave |

Thats it. There is a filter element and spray nozzle in the fitting on the blower fitting itself. |
